Ten Things You Must Know As OAU 2014/2015 Predegree Aspirant

TIPS FOR INTENDING PREDITES

1. Firstly, you have to know that this forum(OAU Pre-Degree Forum) does not belong to OAU CDL. Kindly check our info tab to see what we represent.

2. OAU Predegree programme runs for nine(9) months.

3. OAU Predegree is not for students that are not ready to sacrifice their pleasure for 'real' academic work. Expredites can testify to this.

4. All undergraduate courses offered in OAU are available through the programme.

5. OAU Predegree entrance exam is a Computer Based Test(CBT).

6. About 100 questions are being asked in the entrance test and usually 25 questions each from your registered subjects.

7. You have to prepare hard for the entrance exam to beat fellow tens of thousand applicants to fill in to the limited available spaces (about 2500 spaces).

8. You should not entertain any fear because that space in OAU is reserved for you!

9. The questions been asked at the entrance test is just like your O'level exams i.e WASSCE, SSCE, UTME and so on.

10. Do your best and leave the rest to Almighty God, the sole giver of good success.

Osun Decides: APC, PDP Share Students' Votes In OAU

In what seems to be the reflection of the emerging results of today's Osun gubernatorial poll statewide, the three Halls of Residence in Obafemi Awolowo University where elections were held recorded close figures for the top two parties.

The Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) and All Progressive Congress(APC) had to themselves two locations each except for the Staff school where APC had a slight edge. As at the time of this report, we are still trying to validate our figures with what the INEC officials have got in their records.

Below are the breakdowns of the Election Results for the two leading parties.

Awolowo Hall:    PDP 28 votes  :  APC 31 votes
Fajuyi Hall:        PDP 28 votes  :  APC 20 votes
SUB:                    PDP 47 votes  :  APC 26 votes
PG Hall:              PDP 47 votes  :  APC 50 votes
Staff School:       PDP 87 votes  :  APC 119 votes

Total:                   PDP 237 votes :  APC 246 votes

PLEASE NOTE: This is NOT the official result from INEC but the results from our Observers on campus.

OAU Fee Hike Novella (Episode 7)

Tunde turned around sharply to see who tapped him so hard,he wasn't too surprised when he saw Sola standing in front of Angola hall, not smiling at all.Don't be annoyed,i forgot our agreement and was already inside the Bus before i remembered that i should have waited for you, Tunde apologized. Okay, make i go see Gbemisola for Moz,we go see later, with this Sola left Tunde and was no longer angry.

You remember Richard, the guy that Tunde gave a hard blow in the face episode two,Richard saw Tunde and felt like he should apologize for his behaviour few days back.He walked up to Tunde who smiled when he saw Richard, and hailed him.Richard was surprised that Tunde was acting so nice, and taking the clue told Tunde how sorry he was for what happened between them.No wahala,we be guys sha and shit happens, Tunde replied Richard.

They both left together for their room, though Tunde was still expecting Similoluwa's call. In Angola k4 the room directly opposite to Tunde's room in the J-block,students were discussing how successful the Aluta for the day was.

Later in the evening guys in the Angola hall gathered to play football,as exams were no more, people just played and joked till nightfall,at night the anglomoz car park was already beehived with people, male and female. Tunde slept very early that night, immediately he came back from the car park where he spent some few minutes with Similoluwa,he slept off very tired after a long day.

The next day,Tunde woke up late, knowing fully well that there is not any protest for the day.The SU leadership told the students that if the protests is sustained for 72hours,the mgt may want to close down the institution and they want to avoid that.Tunde spent the whole day talking.

The management has invited the SU for another negotiation o, Segun shouted immediately he entered the room, late in the evening of the next day.Thank God! Richard exclaimed, but you said you will pay even if its hundred thousand naira, why are you now shouting? Segun asked Richard angrily. Am i shouting with your mouth ni? Or cant i talk in this room again? Enough! Tunde shouted at both of them, una dan tire of OAU abi? Have you forgotten fighting isnt allowed in OAU? Segun couldn't help but laugh, see this oldman o,saying fighting isnt allowed, have you forgotten you punched Richard some days ago? he quipped.Just then they heard a knock on their door.

Watch out for the next episode!
