OAU Likely To Resume August 17

There are strong indications that the shut down of Obafemi Awolowo University by the University Management is about to end.

In a press statement made available by the PRO of the Students' Union, the University Management has invited the SU leaders to a meeting on August 12 aimed at resolving every issue and probable resumption of the school.

In his release:

FROM THE LEADERSHIP OF THE UNION(As at 10th of August) ON THE STRUGGLE AND RESUMPTION:

Finally, management bows to the dictates of reasoning: it has in response to the earlier demand of the Union and NANS Zone D invited the latter to a roundtable on Tuesday, 12th August with the main aim of resolving ALL issues relating to d struggle. According to the mediating intermediaries, all matters are most likely going to be resolved between this week and next week and resumption follows accordingly.

Once again, pls disregard any issue of late registration. It goes to no issue. More details in the course of the week.
