TIPS FOR INTENDING PREDITES
1. Firstly, you have to know that this forum(OAU Pre-Degree Forum) does not belong to OAU CDL. Kindly check our info tab to see what we represent.
2. OAU Predegree programme runs for nine(9) months.
3. OAU Predegree is not for students that are not ready to sacrifice their pleasure for 'real' academic work. Expredites can testify to this.
4. All undergraduate courses offered in OAU are available through the programme.
5. OAU Predegree entrance exam is a Computer Based Test(CBT).
6. About 100 questions are being asked in the entrance test and usually 25 questions each from your registered subjects.
7. You have to prepare hard for the entrance exam to beat fellow tens of thousand applicants to fill in to the limited available spaces (about 2500 spaces).
8. You should not entertain any fear because that space in OAU is reserved for you!
9. The questions been asked at the entrance test is just like your O'level exams i.e WASSCE, SSCE, UTME and so on.
10. Do your best and leave the rest to Almighty God, the sole giver of good success.

DeleteI just checked that handle. It is not a verified twitter handle and it may not be officially that of WAEC. However, usually, WAEC does not make any pre-announcement to the release of results. Monday is almost here tho, so we can wait and see what happens.

DeletePlease, can one apply with "awaiting result'? and please from the website they said there are subject combinations. Does this mean that a science student can only offer physics, biology chemistry at pre-degree? or one can study courses like nursing, pharmacy, law at that level?
ReplyDeleteawaiting results can apply ..sure..if u are a science student to study medicine u will write BCP in the entrance exam I.e Biology ,physics and chemistry.English is compulsory.. its just like jamb

ReplyDeleteAlright. CDL means Centre for Distance Learning and that is the body in charge of the Pre-Degree programme in OAU. CDL also handles other programmes like Online Degree Programme, Diploma Programme and so on. Do you get now please?
