OAU Celebrates Economics Professor As He Retires From Service

The department of Economics department of Obafemi Awolowo University Ile Ife has  today commemorated with Prof. Joseph Ajibola Faboyo.

The celebration which filled the air, filled the Faculty of law's Moot and Mock court of the institution to the Brim.

The Students, lecturers and the Non-teaching staff of departments celebrate with the lecturer on his retirement at the faculty of  Law's New Moot and Mock Court.

While speaking at the event, The Vice Chancellor of the Institution, Prof Ogunbodede congratulated the celebrant as a fulfilled lecturer.

"As a fulfilled lecturer without shady record, I congratulate you. Forty-eight years in Service is not a joke nor child's play".

He exemplified the Don as a good picture for representation of hardwork and Integrity as well as a good teacher to many other.

The Chairman Committee of Deans and Dean of Faculty of Social Sciences, Prof. Niyi Aluko describes Prof. Fabayo as " teacher, A person that doesn't discriminate and a councilor. He's very friendly with Students"

Friends, colleagues, lecturers and Students from other Universities also congratulated the Don through their various commentaries at the event.

The celebrant, professor Fabayo in his words of appreciation to everyone that came far and near to celebrate with him.

I need to thank Everyone here present here today to celebrate with me on my seventieth Birthday and retirement ceremony.
" I feel fulfilled and grateful to Everyone here today. My family, friends, colleagues and associates here today. My most fondly gratitude to the Obafemi Awolowo University, The department of Economics which I served and also happy with the opportunity given to serve.
