NFCPS Holds Fresher’s Orientation Picnic

The National Fellowship of Christian Pharmacy Students (NFCPS) held an orientation program for the fresh students of the Faculty of Pharmacy on Saturday, 13th June 2015. The program which was held at the zoological gardens started a few minutes after 11am and lasted for about 2 hours. An attendee when asked described the program as fun and enlightening.
The Guest Speaker, Pharm  Adebisi  B. Adenipekun, who spoke on the program’s theme; Oculum ementum which means “keep your eyes on the goal” , advised the fresh and stale students to keep their focus on the end even from now because it would help them to find purpose; a quality which is highly needed in their race as undergraduates.

Some other senior students in the faculty also shared their experiences and a presentation was also given by the choir of the fellowship, the Dispensers of Life. The program then ended on a high note as a fresh student won a cash prize upon solving a riddle.
