OAU: Course Registration To End Today

This is to remind students of the Obafemi Awolowo University of the closure of normal registration which is scheduled to happen today, 9th December 2016.

Students are advised to complete their convocation in due course.

OAU Predegree Resumes 2016/2017 Session

Students admitted into the Obafemi Awolowo University Predegree programme for the 2016/2017 academic session resumed on Tuesday and Wednesday the 6th and 7th December 2016 respectively.

The resumption is coming after several screening processes which have reduced the number of original applicants for the programme to a smaller figure.

The students, who have commenced the various registration procedures, were seen beaming with smiles and radiance as they walked the grounds of the Moro campus of the institution.

Stand A Chance To Win Up To N200,000 In NSGTS



Students of the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-ife would stand a chance to win up to N200,000 in the Nigerian Students Got Talent Show. The show is set out to help appreciate the talents of Nigerian Students and the maiden edition would.
Students would like to showcase their musical, dance, poetry and other forms of talent would compete to win the star prize of N200,000. However, the first and second runner-up would be getting N100,000 and N50,000 respectively.

Interested students are expected to obtain a form at Infinity Prints (Fajuyi Hall), Eldorado Cafe (Fajuyi Hall), OAU Peeps(08063429623) for N1,000.

Important Information to All Newly Admitted Candidates For 2016/2017 Session

All Candidates who have been offered provisional admission for the 2016/2017 academic session to institutions they did not choose as their most preferred institution (First Choice) or did not choose at all that they are to proceed to JAMB Website (www.jamb.org.ng) to make the institution that have offered them admission their most preferred choice.

The same applies to candidates who have been offered courses different from the one they originally applied to study.

Candidates are to ensure they complete this process on or before December 9th,2016 to enable JAMB change their admission letters and also adjust their records accordingly.

Pharmacy Students Commemorate World AIDS Day With Awareness Scheme




Pharmacy students of the Obafemi Awolowo University under the aegis of the Pharmaceutical Association of Nigeria Students today joined the rest of the world to create special awareness for the Human Immunodeficiency Virus and the Acquired Immunodeficiency Disease Syndrome which continues to remain on the most feared viral diseases worldwide.

The students whom gathered at the Students Union building of the school, gave out free protection for males and females and also organized free tests for interested members of the University community. They also preached against discrimination against people who has the disease, enlightening the masses as to how the virus can be contacted and more importantly, how the virus cannot be contacted.
