In a significant moment of progress for OAU Peeps News Agency, the 2024/2025 OAUPeeps executives held their final meeting for the session, which also marked the sessional get-together and handover ceremony for the agency on August 8, 2025.
The meeting ushered in a new era in the agency's leadership, following a successful tenure by Ogunlana Klistivivi as Editor-in-Chief, Alademehin Lydia as Deputy Editor-in-Chief, Omotosho GodsDelight as General Secretary, and Ojelade Pipeloluwa as Public Relations Officer.
The new executives include Ojelade Pipeloluwa as Editor-in-Chief and Salako Blessing as Deputy Editor-in-Chief.

Pipeloluwa, a 300-level student of Mass Communication who will be leading the agency going forward, has garnered a wealth of experience pivotal to her emergence as Editor-in-Chief. Her journey in campus journalism has been marked by significant contributions to OAUPeeps, including serving as Public Relations Officer (PRO) during the 2024/2025 tenure.
Meanwhile, Blessing, a 200-level student of Mass Communication, who will serve as Deputy Editor, has also proved herself diligent as a member of the agency since she joined.

In a heartfelt statement regarding the transition, Mr. David Adetula, founder of OAUPeeps, expressed deep appreciation for Klistivivi's leadership. "Thank you so much for your time leading OAU Peeps, Ifeoluwa. I wish you the very best in your endeavours." He also extended warm wishes to Pipeloluwa, acknowledging the significant responsibilities that accompany the role of Editor-in-Chief. This transition marks not just a change in leadership but also an opportunity for growth and innovation within the agency.

As Pipeloluwa steps into this essential position, expectations are high.
