The Great Ife Students' Union has provided more updates regarding the president health who was earlier reported by OAU Peeps News Agency to have slumped at the early hours of Saturday, 21st May 2022.
In a Press Release made available to OAUPeeps News Agency, the Spokesman of the Union Comr. Ogunperi Taofeek Olalekan "Tao" said the President was rushed to Apex Hospital Ibadan Road, ile-ife where he was hospitalized but now stable before been transferred to Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital where he has since been receiving further treatment.
The statement read thus:
ON THE HEALTH STATUS OF COMRADE PRESIDENT REFORM
We would like to inform the students of the University that our President, Comrade Reform, who was hospitalized early this morning is now stable. Early today, he had slumped and was rushed to Apex Hospital, Ibadan Road, Ile-Ife.
Upon receiving a distress call, the Secretary General had informed officers of the Union at SUB and left for Apex Hospital. From Apex Hospital, Mr President was transferred to Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital where he has since been receiving further treatment.
We express sincere gratitude to all who have put calls through, texted and visited to check on the President. He is still undergoing medical treatment and we solicit your prayers, support and understanding at this time.
