Former JAMB Boss Claims Removal Was Act Of God

Ex-JAMB Registrar, Prof Dibu Ojerinde has said his removal was not as a result of the rumoured  disagreement he had with the Minister of Education, Mallam Adamu Adamu.

Prof Ojerinde  said he was grateful to President Muhammadu Buhari and the minister for giving him the opportunity to stay in office till the time he was removed and also to all Nigerians especially
former Presidents Chief Olusegun Obasanjo and Dr. Goodluck Jonathan as well as for believing in him and giving the opportunities to serve his country in the last 25 years.

The professor of Test and Measurement made this known at a thanksgiving service at the First Baptist Church, Igboho, Oyo State.

In 1991, he was appointed as the Director
and Consultant at Centre for Educational
Measurement (CEM), Federal Ministry of
Education . After his tenure in 1992, he was appointed as the Registrar of the National Board for Educational Measurement, NBEM. He held this position for 7 years (1992 – 1999). Shortly after his tenure as of the National Board for Educational Measurement (NBEM) in 1999, he was appointed as the Registrar of National Examination Council, NECO. He held this position for 8 years (1999 – 2007).
