Names Of Shortlisted Candidates For OAU VC Seat

The six shortlisted candidates for the soon-to-be vacant position of the Vice Chancellor of Obafemi Awolowo University are;

1.) Prof Ayobami Salami(Current Deputy Vice Chancellor for Academics)
2.) Prof Afolabi Akindaunsi (Federal University of Technology, Akure)
3.) Prof Charles Akinyokun (Federal University of Technology, Akure)
4.) Prof Olabisi Aina
5.) Prof Eyitope Ogunbodede
6.) Prof Anthony Akinlo

The latest development however confirms the suspension of the selection process owning to the court injuction gotten by SSANU and NASU. The tenure of the current Vice Chancellor, Professor Bamitale Omole will expire come June 23, 2016.
