Hon. Seun Knows Fate Today

The much talked about Oketooto Oluwaseun a.k.a Hon. Seun will know if he will remain as the Secretary General of the Obafemi Awolowo University Students' Union or step aside today.

The Election Petition Committee(EPC) hearing the petition filed by Awotiwon Ibiyemi questioning the eligibility of Hon. Seun to run in the last Union election has fixed Monday, 8th June 2015 to deliver its verdict on the matter.

Hon. Seun was alleged not to have met the minimum 2.5 CGPA requirement stipulated as part of the guidelines meant for aspirants that contested last Union elections.
Last week, the EPC said it will employ the services of experts to calculate his CGPA and also explain what CGPA means following varying interpretations by members of the committee in their previous meeting.

In a release made available to our correspondent by the EPC, the case will now be decided today at the level of SUB TV room by 4pm.

Hon. Seun has however said in a previous interview with OAU Peeps News Agency that he will not accept the verdict of the Election Petition Committee(EPC) if his mandate is withdrawn despite appreciating the sincerity of the committee so far as regards the case.
