FRAUD ALERT! Federal Government Scholarship Application Is NOT Ongoing

Good day esteemed readers. As I was walking past the Notice Board in Awolowo Hall this morning (13th November, 2014), I saw a notice been pasted that anyone interested in applying for the Federal Government Scholarship should send their details to a particular e-mail address (fsbgovn@gmail.com). I don't really know what the person is up to but I sense fraud.

The yearly scholarship scheme been operated by the Federal Government of Nigeria which the poster alleges he/she is assisting people with had closed since July, 2014 and the minimum requirement for application is a 3.5 CGPA on a 5 point scale as against the 2.5 he publicized. For further clarity, the Scholarship is not opened to Part 1 students as he/she claims. The person really designed the notice paper to mimic the usual way the school management reaches out to the public just to deceive innocent readers.
Please be careful not to fall for this cheap trap as I observed same poster in Angola Hall and other Halls of Residence. As at the time of putting up this Alert, the case has been reported to the right quota and investigation is ongoing.
